A Year on the Edge features nearly 100 framed photographs captured over the course of all four seasons at the 理查德。 and Lucile Durrell Edge of Appalachia Preserve System that bring the forest to life. Brilliant sunlight streaming through rock crevices, cascading waterfalls and wildlife holding dominion over the landscape illustrate in vivid detail the beauty of the Edge’s wild spaces.

Borrowed Gems from the Taft Museum of Art showcases the collection of Charles Phelps and Anna Sinton Taft, displaying 47 artworks from some of the greatest European artists of the past. Among the featured artworks are masterpieces from Thomas Gainsborough, J.M.W. Turner, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and Charles François Daubigny. Also on display are decorative arts featuring Qing dynasty Chinese ceramics and 18th-century watches.

Holiday Junction featuring the Duke Energy Holiday Trains brings out the wide-eyed wonder in kids of all ages. An Unfinished Revolution: Women and the Vote commemorates the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, showcasing the courage and resilience of women who have fought for the right to vote. The exhibition tells the story of years of struggle and sacrifice to secure the vote, and the ongoing fight by some groups for their right to vote.
